Daily Dunk 3/18: LeBron James

I have a feeling this will not be the first time LeBron earns “Dunk of the Night” honors from NBA.com. He is no stranger to monster jams and rarely messes them up, especially in situations like this one where he’s all alone. Sasha Pavlovic forces the turnover from Orlando while LeBron picks it up for the steal, then goes end-to-end for what NBA.com calls the “hammer jam.” To be honest, by LeBron’s standards this dunk is only a 4 or 5 out of 10. But by general standards, a LeBron James dunk is always at least an 8. He just makes it look so flashy and easy no matter what he does.

It should be noted that this play was in a tie game in the 4th quarter. LeBron finished with 43 points, including a deep 3 in the final minute and two clutch free throws with seconds remaining, to lead the Cavs past the Magic. In my humble opinion, there isn’t even a debate for the MVP this year. It’s LeBron, hands down.
