Avery Thrown Around at His Own Will

Rangers winger Sean Avery has a reputation for, well, a lot of things. For one, if he doesn’t want to fight someone he makes it very clear. Here he couldn’t be more clear against David Clarkson of the Devils. Clarkson grabs hold of Avery during a scrum, and he tries his darndest to get Avery to do something but the guy doesn’t budge. Eventually he just throws him to the ice and drags him around like a rag doll until the referees had seen enough. Avery usually isn’t too afraid to fight most guys, but he looks to have an unusually large aversion to fighting Clarkson. Maybe he’s afraid he’ll tag Martin Brodeur in?
