Boston University’s Amazing National Championship Comeback

I’m a future Northeastern grad, but my father Steve Dolloff went to Boston University and won two straight national titles in 1971 and ’72. And since then, we’ve gone to hundreds of BU games, so the school clearly holds a special place in my heart. Ultimately, I would have loved to see NU go all the way, but this was truly BU’s year. They are full of young talent, much of which will make it at the next level. They deserved to beat Miami of Ohio last night, even though it took an improbable comeback. It’s games like this that make me wish college hockey was more popular in the United States. It will never reach the level of popularity of football or basketball, but last night’s title game was on par with just about any title game from the other sports. Here are the highlights of this amazing comeback and overtime victory for BU:
