Dwayne Wade Goes Off For 55 Points In 122-105 Win
Adding another notch to his belt of MVP arguments, Dwayne Wade exploded for the Heat Sunday against the Knicks, scoring 55 points and adding nine rebounds, four assists, and a block. Wade was 19-30 from the field and 11-13 from the line, almost doubling the point total of the next-closest Heat player, Michael Beasley (28 points). There’s no scoring explosion like this without some highlight-reel moments, and Wade provided plenty in this one. The greatest play can be seen in the video, where he perfectly times the ball off the rim and slams it home while jumping over another player.
The heat average 98.5 points scored per game, and 30.2 of those points come from Wade. He will most likely finish second in the MVP voting to LeBron James, but Wade’s outstanding season cannot be ignored. The scary part is, Wade may take his game to yet another level in the postseason, where the Heat will be either the #4 or #5-seed.
