Baseball Tonight Web Gems For May 1st

Michael Bourn makes his first appearance on Web Gems at No.5 with a leaping catch at the center field wall. It was an impressive catch, and could be No.1 on an average night for defense.

Adam Rosales of the Cinncinati Reds goes just barely into the stands to snag a foul pop-up. He does a good job controlling himself at the wall and being able to get right back up. He takes No.4 for his first web gem of the season.

Marlins shortstop Alfredo Amezaga goes an incredible length to grab a grounder deep in the hole, and follows it up with a fireball to first base.

Coming in at No.2 is a familiar face to Web Gems so far this season, Brandon Inge. He continued his insanely productive season with a spectacular sliding catch to rob a weak foul ball.

Oakland’s Ryan Sweeney tops them all with a fantastic catch directly over his head. He makes it look much, much easier than it looks.
